Philip Harte "PJ" New Coordinator

At a regular meeting of the Montour County Master Gardeners, Philip Harte "PJ" has stepped forward as the new volunteer Master Gardener Coordinator. PJ will lead the organization in the coming year as the entire group tackles projects, programs and a new hotline.

With the completion of a new class of Master Gardener trainees in March,  several new Apprentices have join ranks with the Master Gardener Program.  The group welcomes Mary Acton-Adams, Suzanne Wickkham, Mina McCormick, Brenda Fischer-Dennehy and PJ into the elite ranks. Apprentices need to accumulate 50 hours of service before officially becoming a "Master Gardener".

Thank you to Master Gardner Harriet Perez for her many years of service as the Montour County Master Gardner Coordinator. She had dedicated many hours of volunteer time to enhance the Montour County Master Gardening program and many other gardening activities in Montour County. Harriet will continue to provide her expertise in programs as she works with our new Apprentices.
