Back by popular demand!
The summer Food Preservation Hands-on workshops are a great way to learn the basics of home food preservation. Canning procedures have changed dramatically over the years, but many folks still look forward to eating the "fruits of their labor" over the winter months with home preserved foods. It doesn’t matter if you are new to food preservation or a seasoned pro, this class is sure to offer new and timely information about canning, freezing and drying food.
If you have a garden that is producing more than you can consume in a summer or if you have discovered a local food supply that you would like to enjoy during the colder months, this class will offer great information and tips to safely preserve food.
Cost $40 per person (or $60 per couple).
