Workshops will provide professionals with an understanding of the five protective factors in preventing child abuse and neglect, and an understanding of how to strengthen these protective factors for the families in your early care and education programs. When parents and early childhood educators see each other as allies in caring for young children, everyone benefits. Teachers do make a big difference in the lives of children and their families. child care professionals frequently face dilemmas in establishing responsive, supporting relationships with parents.
