Extension Helps Present Manure Management Training

Training on how to prepare a Manure Management Plan

Penn State Extension and the McKean County Conservation District partnered, in Smethport, PA,  on Thursday, March 15, 2012, to offer McKean County Agricultural Producers a new Manure Management Training. This training is being offered across the state of Pennsylvania.  Extension Educator, Jim Clark, assisted in presenting the material. A total of 33 people participated in the program and 21 (95%) of the respondents to a post survey, stated the class helped them to prepare a Manure Management Plan for their farm and understand how to keep farm manure from polluting farm water resources.
