The winter class series will feature produce that is available year round in our local grocery stores. The recipes in the classes will showcase these common vegetables in new and exciting ways, ways you may not have ever considered. You will leave each class feeling like you have just been introduced to a new friend, the common everyday vegetable that can be found on any given day in any given grocery.
This mushroom class will take a look at the crimini and portabella mushrooms and the many ways they can be used in our everyday cooking. The flavor and texture of these mushrooms are considered to be meaty and rich and are sometimes considered a meat substitute.
