Class Description: No more panicking when you see any insect in the garden! Learn how to identify friends, foes, and neutrals. Understand degree days and phrenological cues which can help you with insect ID and control. Learn about Integrated Pest Management for the home gardener to know when you should act, how to find the softest control possible (consider hand-picking those nasty potato bugs!) and how to time the controls to have the greatest effect. Participants may bring insects from their garden (in a closed container) for use in the hands-on identification activity.

⌧ The cost is $5.00 per class
⌧ Soil Test Kits may be purchased prior to the class for $9.00 each. Please include with your registration payment (refer to registration form). They will be at the class with your name on them.
