4-H BENEFIT AUCTION
Date and Location
When (Date/Time)
July 28, 2011, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PMThe 4-H Board of Directors is collecting items for the benefit auction. Profits from this auction go directly to the 4-H Development Fund. It is this fund that pays at least 1/2 of entry fees to 4-H events, provides scholarships, project books, and materials for 4-H members and leaders.
Please support the auction by putting together a 4-H club basket, advertise the event to your friends and neighbors, and by coming out and spending the evening of Thursday July 28 at the Lebanon Area Fair! Bring lawn chairs for comfortable seating.
- 4-H Club Basket Contribution—Each 4-H club is asked to collect a basket of items with a theme. Bring your items to the Extension Office by July 22.
- Make a Contribution of Your Own: Top sellers are often handmade items made by 4-Hers and/or 4-H supporters! 4-H parents ask your employer for a gift certificate or merchandise to support the auction.
- Help at the Auction—4-H’ers can help as runners on the evening of the auction by holding items for bid and carry items to the successful bidder. Parents, Leaders, and 4-H’ers interested in helping with the auction should contact Martha Gregory at 270-4391.
Donations to the 4-H program are tax deductible and receipts are available.
We hope to see you there :) !!
