Teen Club December Meeting
Posted: January 3, 2013
What to my wondering eyes did appear? Santa's elves—and they were everywhere!
Carrying old cards, cookies, gifts, and lots of fun things. You know all that stuff that Santa brings. A busy, fun night was soon to be had; that would make all those elves so happy and glad.
Serious business was on the agenda; collected items to send out to Hurricane Sandy victims. Thanks to all those who helped us in this important deed.
The tree was decorated with all kinds of homemade ornaments. After we placed the angel on top of the tree, we smiled for the camera, then used old Holiday cards to design over 80 new cards and made some ornaments for the residents of Clarks Summit Senior Center.
Finishing up the work the elves earned some treats. They had pizza, salad, soda, and lots of fresh-baked sweets. And finally...what all good elves love best, the gift exchange was held, and the elves said we're tired, let's rest!
Teen Club has started off in full swing with the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season and will keep busy volunteering at the PA Farm Show in January 2013. So let’s go teens. Grab a friend and join us at our next Club meeting Thursday, January 10, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at the Penn State Extension Office, 200 Adams Avenue, Lower Level, Scranton.
