4-H Capital Days
Posted: January 3, 2013
4-H Capital Days is a unique experience designed to teach youth about
citizenship and civic engagement while providing an opportunity to share their stories and be heard by those who make the decisions, set the budget, and change laws for our state.
This annual event also provides 4-H members with the opportunity to share with legislators the impact 4-H has on Pennsylvania's youth and communities across the state.
During Capital Days participants will . . .
- Learn about state government and legislation
- Tour the State Capitol
- Meet state legislators
- Learn how to become involved in state and local government
- Become a Parli Pro
