Healthy Homes
What is the Healthy Homes program about?
The Pennsylvania Integrated Pest Management Program (PAIPM), in partnership with the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH), offers the following workshops. For more information and scheduling contact: Dion Lerman, HHS at dlerman@psu.edu or 215-264-0582.
Welcome to the National Center for Healthy Housing's online training center. NCHH recognizes that online training gives you the opportunity to take trainings that may not otherwise fit into your schedule or travel budget. NCHH's first on-line training -- the Pediatric Environmental Home Assesssment course - will soon be transferred to this site.
The HUD Healthy Homes Program Guidance Manual pre-release draft is based on proven approaches and techniques, and the most current research. It is written for everyone interested in developing or expanding a Healthy Homes program. Substantial savings in health care costs and improved quality of life can be achieved by reducing health and safety hazards in the home.
