Stinging Insects
Many people (up to 3%) are allergic to the stings from bees, yellow jackets, wasps and other insects. A severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) may occur in a matter of minutes, including swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and possibly death. Even people who have been harmlessly stung in the past can become “sensitized:” if symptoms occur get help immediately!
