Blue Spruce Park
DIRECTIONS: The park is located on Route 110, east of Ernest. As you enter the park through the main entrance, the gardens are on the left in front of the Lakeside Center.
The garden contains several bedding areas with perennials, bulbs, grasses, annuals and a pollinator garden. An extensive herb garden, located above the stone wall, contains herbs that are grouped by themes and traditional uses: Biblical, Culinary, Household, Medicinal, and Shakespeare. These gardens are maintained by the PSU Master Gardeners.
