Indiana County Gardens
DIRECTIONS: The park is located on Route 110, east of Ernest. As you enter the park through the main entrance, the gardens are on the left in front of the Lakeside Center.
DIRECTIONS: The IUP campus is on the right as you enter Indiana on Oakland Avenue/Route 286. Turn right off Oakland onto Grant Street. The entrance to a paid parking garage is on the left as you approach 11th Street.
DIRECTIONS: Follow 422 East; turn right after Pike’s Peak Nursery onto South Harmony Road. Follow signs to the North Shore of the park. The Herb Garden is located on the left and the Stake Church Garden is located on the right at the intersection of Harmony and Ray Roads. Park on the roadside.
DIRECTIONS: Follow Philadelphia Street/Route 286 East onto East Pike. Travel ½ mile. Turn left into the White Township Recreation Complex. Drive past the front of the building. Turn right and continue to the children’s playground. Turn left and continue to the top of the hill. The Eagle’s Rest and Picnic Area are on your right and the Senior Activity Area on your left. The Harry and Edna Reese Seniors Activity Area Garden is located between the shuffleboard and bocce ball courts.
DIRECTIONS: The healing Garden is located behind the Herbert Hanna Medical Center, adjacent to the IRMC. Facing the medical center, go around the left side of the building.
DIRECTIONS: From Indiana, head west on Route 286. Saltsburg is about a 30-minute drive.
