State 4-H Strawberry Fundraiser Happening Now!

Thinking about purchasing some strawberry plants this year? Why not purchase some from 4-H and support a good cause! Orders and payment are due by Monday March 6, 2017

The strawberry plant sale benefits the 4-H Development Fund, which provides funding for all of the 4-H activities throughout the year, and also contributes to members who wish to explore opportunities at a regional, state or national level. The Indiana County 4-H program reaches approximately 750 youth a year, through traditional clubs, special interest groups, school embryology programs, and summer day camps.

We suggest 1 bundle for 8-10 year olds, 2-4 bundles for 10-13 year olds, and 6-10 bundles for 13-15 year olds) older in bundles. A bundle contains 25 plants

Orders and payment are due by Monday March 6, 2017. Delivery will be sometime in April.

Varieties:
earliglow - early season, very good for freezing
Honeoye - early-mid season, highly productive
Allstar - mid-season, very good for freezing
Cabot - late-mid-season, huge berry, excellent flavor
Jewel - late-mid-season, excellent for freezing
Evie2 - everbearing, good flavor and large sized berries
Monterey - day neutral, large berries with good flavor

Cost is $11.50 per bundle (this includes a shipping change from Adams county)

This is well below the retail cost of $16.00 from the company.
