There are several diseases and insect problems that are becoming more prevalent on Douglas Fir in western Pennsylvania. To help address these problems, we have scheduled Tracey and Sarah to be with us to improve our understanding of these problems and how to address them. Please join us if your schedule permits.
Speakers: Tracey Olson, Plant Pathologist with The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, will address Rhabdocline Needlecast & Swiss Needlecast on Douglas Fir and Stigmina Needle Blight on Colorado Spruce.
Sarah Pickel, Conifer/IPM Specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, will cover Douglas Fir Needle Midge and other important insects.
