The Department of Dairy and Animal Science offers many opportunities for students, adults, and youth in the area of equine science.
Project work is the backbone of the 4-H poultry program. Project areas are offered to youth 9 to 18 years old. Subjects include embryology, raising and rearing poultry, and poultry and egg consumer projects. These projects are what motivate youth to learn teamwork, develop interpersonal skills, build enthusiasm and enjoy challenges.
PSU Collegiate 4-H is a student organization committed to the leadership development of its members, doing service projects that make a difference, and continuing to support the Pennsylvania 4-H program. Former 4-H members and non-members alike are welcome to join. Regardless of the activity, we're always having fun- so come check us out!
