Experience and Credentials
Experience in providing exercise instruction. This experience may be in fitness center, community setting, outpatient hospital setting or as a personal trainer.
Educational background in exercise or some aspect of public health. The appropriate educational background might include medicine, nursing, nutrition, family and consumer science, exercise physiology, occupational/physical therapy, massage therapy or community/public health. This educational background will be invaluable when explaining the importance of exercise and strength training in particular to program participants.
Certification by a reputable health and fitness organization.
Hands on experience with exercise, nutrition or working with older individuals are an excellent foundation for teaching the program.

Forms for conducting the program will be stored in this folder.
StrongWomen Site Leader Trainings teach the basics for implementing the StrongWomen program. Participants need to be actively strength training and have a firm commitment to lead a StrongWomen program in their community.
StrongWomen Booster Pack and Update Trainings. You need to be a site leader leading the StrongWomen program for one year before attending Booster Pack training.
Leader Training Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Booster Pack Training Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
