One-Pot Mac 'n' Cheese
9 ounces uncooked macaroni
2 cups milk
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon dry mustard
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 ¼ pound (20 ounces) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Cook macaroni according to package directions. While macaroni is cooking, combine milk and dry ingredients in a jar and shake well. When macaroni is tender, drain and return to pan. Add milk mixture and stir gently over medium heat until sauce thickens. Add cheese and stir until melted. Serve.
Makes 13 (2/3 cup) servings.
