Rockin' Granola
Children will need help from an adult! Don't forget to drink water while you hike.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups uncooked oatmeal
- 1 cup wheat germ (toasted or untoasted)
- 1 cup coconut
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Equipment:
- 9 x 13 pan
- Large mixing bowl
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Spoon
- Zip-top bags
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300° F.
- Mix oatmeal, wheat germ, coconut, cinnamon, brown sugar, and powdered milk in a large mixing bowl.
- Add honey, oil, and vanilla.
- Mix well, coating all dry ingredients.
- Spread mixture into the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes, but
check every 5 minutes and stir.
To Serve:
Pack individual serving sizes in zip-top bags.
