Apple Tree Rings
Children will need help from an adult! Don't forget to drink water while you hike.

Ingredients:
- 2 of your favorite apples
- 1 part lemon juice
- 4 parts water
Equipment:
- Knife
- String
- Bowl
- Zip-top bags
Directions:
- Wash, peel, and core apples.
- Slice apples into rings 1/8” thick.
- Mix lemon juice and water in bowl.
- Dip apple slices into lemon juice and water mixture.
- String rings on string.
- Let fruit air until fully dry (about 24 hours).
To Serve:
Pack individual serving sizes in zip-top bags.
