Green Industry Entomology Short Course
The Entomology Short Course is an intensive day-long course designed for green industry professionals to increase their knowledge of insects. Participants will learn to identify common insects that are found in plant production, landscapes, and turfgrass; both insect pests and beneficial insects will be discussed. Prediction of pest activity through phenology and Growing Degree Days will be reviewed and management of pests using an IPM strategy will be discussed. Pesticide Recertification credits and ISA CEUs will be available for participants.

Home Gardeners School of the Central Susquehanna Valley
An exciting day of programs, vendors, door prizes, and friendships await you at our 15th Annual Home Gardeners School. Jessica Walliser with Benefical Borders is the keynote speaker. The registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and five presentations. Multiple vendors, as well as three speakers, will have autographed material for sale. Advanced registration is required - there will be no registration at the door.

The 2012 Four-State Turf and Ornamentals Conference will have 12 one-hour presentations offered in two tracks; Track 1- Turf Topics, and Track 2- Ornamentals Topics. Participants are free to elect and attend presentations according to their personal interest and need for recertification credits. Lunch, break snacks and refreshments will be provided.
