Guest presenter, Dave Rosenberger, grew up on a dairy farm near Quakertown, PA, and he spent summers during high school and college working on a large diversified fruit/vegetable/greenhouse operation. He attended Goshen College in Indiana and later received his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Michigan State University where he worked on X-disease of peaches. In 1977, Dave was hired as the Tree Fruit Plant Pathologist at Cornell's Hudson Valley Lab in Highland, NY. Dave has 34 years of experience monitoring apple disease development in the Hudson Valley, evaluating apple fungicides in field trials, and incorporating the best available information on fungicides and apple pathogen biology into extension recommendations.
