The mission of the Penn State Master Gardener volunteer program is to support Penn State Cooperative Extension by utilizing research-based information to educate the public on best practices in consumer horticulture and environmental stewardship.
Are you interested in becoming a Penn State Master Gardener? Do you enjoy serving your community as a volunteer? Then this is the program for you! Combine your love of gardening with the joy of sharing your knowledge with the community and you have the Penn State Master Gardener program. Mark your calendar for October 2011 to begin your training. The training classes will run from October 2011 until the first week of March 2012. Please watch our site for more information.
