The Controlling Listeria in Fresh Produce workshop is designed for those who pack, wash, and store fresh produce. Although emphasis is on tree fruit packing, this course will be useful to any type of produce packing or minimal processing operation (e.g., sliced apples, fresh-cut salad vegetables).
Developing a Farm Food Safety Plan is designed to assist growers who are writing a USDA Harmonized GAP Food Safety Plan or are preparing for some other farm food safety audit requiring a written plan.
The Food Safety Modernization Act - Produce Grower Certification Training is for fruit and vegetable growers, and other persons, interested in learning about product safety, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety. The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement (§112.22.c).
