Forage-Based Beef - A Penn State Extension Series on Getting It Right is offering this spring seminar to support and educate beef producers or those who are considering forage-based systems. The seminar will provide educational and networking opportunities for small-scale and part-time producers interested in enhancing the quality of their product and increasing profitably of their operations, or those who want to produce for their own use.
The Food Safety Modernization Act - Produce Grower Certification Training is for fruit and vegetable growers, and other persons, interested in learning about product safety, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety. The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement (§112.22.c).
