Monroe County Horse Leader Monthly Meeting
Join us on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 as we recognize our outstanding youth during our annual Achievement Night. This year our format has changed and we will be having a dessert social in the Extension Auditorium. We will present all awards at 7:00 pm with dessert to follow. Come join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Mercer County youth.
Open to the public to attend on Friday, November 6 from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday, November 7 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Local craft and food vendors will be available, pony rides, and activities including a kids crafts station and entertainment.
November is Military Family Month and Penn State Extension Military Youth Program invites military families to join us for the 6th Annual Fall Family Camp! The theme of the weekend is family team building and promises to be a weekend full of fun! We will have games, archery, campfire, storytelling, and more!
Science is fun! Come out for a day of "Motion Commotion", LEGO Mindstorm Robotics, "Rockets to the Rescue", and more at our day camp.

This event recognizes all 4-H members, leaders, and parents for their achievements throughout the 4-H year. Emphasis will be placed on volunteer leaders, outstanding club officers, 4-H members who completed a County Achievement Records and who have gone above and beyond to participate in 4-H events.

The PA 4-H State Leadership Conference provides a state level educational experience for Pennsylvania 4-H members that builds and enhances skills used throughout their 4-H careers and beyond.
Our biannual statewide 4-H Volunteer Leaders Forum. This event will coincide with the 4-H State Leadership Conference, the largest Pennsylvania 4-H youth leadership event, which is attended by more than 350 youth annually and grows each year.
The 2016 Pennsylvania 4-H Capital Days will be held April 16-18 (Saturday-Monday) at the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers in Harrisburg, PA. Capital Days is a 3-day experiential program that provides 4-H’ers ages 14-18 with the unique opportunity to enhance their citizenship and advocacy skills and knowledge of Pennsylvania state government.
4-H State Achievement Days is an educational three-day program for 4-H members (ages 13-18), sponsored each year by Penn State Extension. This annual event is held to demonstrate achievement of 4-H members and provide recognition of their accomplishments in competitive as well as non-competitive events.
