Energy Use and Efficiency
The least expensive energy is often the energy that we didn't use. Developing new strategies to improve energy efficiency is critical.
Penn State Extension's Energy Efficiency Team is working to help consumers:
- understand the potential of energy alterntatives and to be able to make economic comparison between energy sources,
- understand the emerging issues involved with utility company pricing and policies, and
- develop strategies to use energy more efficiently in the home, on the farm, or in the workplace.
