System Security
To help maintain the security of your records and all information maintained by the e-data system:
- Keep your User ID and password secure.
- Don't share your password with anyone. It is a violation of University policy to allow anyone else to know or use your password. Please review the ITS Password Best Practices for complete information.
- Don't log in using anyone else's password, and don't let anyone else log in using yours. According to the Penn State Access Account Password Management Site, "All use of the Penn State Access Account is assumed to be performed by the person assigned to that account. Account owners are held responsible for all activities associated with their accounts."
- Always click the Sign Out button when leaving the e-data application.
