Sharepoint
The Volunteerism/e-data area of the Central Region Sharepoint site provides:
• a detailed instruction manual,
• announcements,
• statewide e-data training calendar,
• e-data materials for Extension staff,
• and recorded training sessions.
Extension staff may use their AG domain passwords to access the site. Staff who need help logging into or using Sharepoint may submit a help request to Ag IT.
Locating the e-data Instructions Manual on Sharepoint
- Go to the e-data folder located in Shared Documents.
- Click on the Word document file: e-data v2.1 Instructions Manual
- To download the document, choose OK.
Access to the Volunteerism/e-data Sharepoint site
- Extension staff may use their AG domain User IDs and passwords to access the site.
- Volunteer Master Gardener Coordinators who do not already have access may contact county extension staff. County staff are able to request access for volunteer coordinators.
Adding an Alert in Sharepoint
Alerts notify users by email about changes that occur in Sharepoint. Sharepoint users are encouraged to set up to three different alerts for the Sharepoint site we use:
- the Announcements area,
- the Calendar area,
- and the Shared Documents folder.
