Education:
- B.S. in biology/ecology from Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA and a M.S. in turfgrass IPM from the Entomology Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
Main responsibility is to educate nursery and landscape care personnel on the basics of establishing an integrated pest management (IPM) program in eight counties around the Capital Region.
· Other duties: Master Gardener training, educational lectures on ornamental insect pests and; entomology lectures to civic organizations, garden clubs and children’s groups; and grant writing to fund research projects.
