This year the Dauphin County Crops School will change the format. This year the program will be held during the day, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Berrysburg Community Center, 147 Chestnut Street, Berrysburg, PA 17005. Presentations begin at 9:00 a.m. Like previous years there will be alternative presentations to choose. In addition, there will be commercial exhibitors present highlighting products and service available to you.
Programming this year will focus on weed management strategies; insect pest control alternatives; field crop diseases; high yielding soybean production and nutrient management.
Private pesticide applicator continuing education credits will be available, (core + category). It will be possible to obtain up to eight pesticide re-certification credits.
This year registration is $10.00 which includes refreshments and lunch catered by Wehry’s, from Klingerstown.
