Workshops, Displays, and Speakers Bureau
Horticultural events include the Pennsylvania Farm Show, PA Garden Expo, and Summer Garden Experience. Community events include Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival, Carlisle Amani Festival, and Greenfest.
The Master Gardeners offer gardening workshops and demonstrations to the public that provide unbiased, research-based information on best management practices for ornamental and edible gardening. High quality, low-cost annual programs include “Ready, Set, Grow” in March; Sustainable Gardening Series in April; and Fall Garden Day in September.
The Master Gardeners will speak on horticultural topics to garden clubs and community organizations for a reasonable fee, which helps to fund their educational outreach programs. A list of Speakers’ Bureau topics is available, and presentations can be customized to meet your group’s gardening interests.
