Posted: October 24, 2012
Participants review the material and complete and return seven short worksheets. If you score higher than 70% on the combined worksheets, you pass the course and receive the pesticide update credits. The registration fee is $30.00 and can be done at the following website http://guest.cvent.com/d/0dqb01. This course can be taken for Pesticide Recertification Credits only once. The course is being coordinated by Penn State Extension Educator, Jim Clark, located at the Penn State Extension Office in McKean County. His email address is jac20@psu.edu if you have further questions. Penn State is an affirmative action, equal opportunity university, and all interested individuals, regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age or disability, are encouraged to attend.
To date, 14 pond applicators have completed the course successfully and the 11 participants who completed the course survey stated they would recommend the course to others and felt the price was just about right or a real bargain. One applicator stated, “I found this course to be very informative. The use of the video and book were great resources.”
