Program Description:
The presentation describes the links between diet and cancer and how lifestyle habits can affect risk of cancer—in particular breast, prostate and colon cancer. Securing relevant cancer screening options is encouraged and the role of functional foods is also noted.

Program Objectives:

  2. Encourage use of screening tests that help lower risk and aid in early detection.

Program Audience:

Program Impact:
Participants knowledge of lifestyle and cancer risk and the value of screening tests will be increased.

Program Materials:
This program includes a PowerPoint presentation with associated worksheets and handouts addressing the 'Determination' or 'Preparation' stage of Stages of Change.
