Crawford County 4-H Recognition Night

All 4-H leaders, members, and their families are formally invited to attend 4-H Recognition Night on Saturday, January 28th, at the United Methodist Church, located on Route 77 in Blooming Valley starting at 6:00 p.m. Please accept this article and the enclosed reservation form as your one and only invitation.

Dinner will be in the social hall and then we will move to the sanctuary for the program.  This is a family night designed to recognize the accomplishments of our 4-H’ers and volunteer leaders.   The charge is $16.00 a plate for guests.  4-H leaders and 4-H’ers being recognized will receive a special rate of $8.00 a plate.  Pre-paid reservations are due Friday, January 13, 2012. 

 Following the meal, we will be entertained by Naomi Wisniewski who won 1st place in the Talent Show at State Achievement Days.  The program will include leader service awards, the Friend of 4-H Award, Recognition pins for State Achievement Days, and the Outstanding 4-H Club Award.  4-H’ers will be recognized for attending regional, state and national events and for their outstanding 4-H project books and other special awards will be noted as well. 

4-H members, you know who you are, so if any of the events or awards listed apply to you, RSVP today so you can be recognized.  Events include  Regional Fashion Review, State Days, National Dairy Conference, NW Regional Small Animal Show, WCRC Rabbit School, NW Regional 4-H Dairy Overnighter, Junior Camp, Intermediate Camp, In-Betweeners, Capital Days, State Leadership Conference, NWPA Leadership Conference/CCT, and National Congress/Outstanding 4-H’er.  Project Book Award Winners for Dairy, Advisory Board, and AgChoice awards will be recognized.  Keep reading your newsletter to find out who won the Advisory Board and AgChoice awards and winners be sure to attend! Also, the 4-H Teen Council never ceases to entertain us with their introduction.  What will they do this year?  Come on out and enjoy a night of 4-H fellowship and fun!  Bring the whole family and why not invite someone else from your club to come along?
