Gerald A. Kriner: Executive Assistant to Senator Gene Yaw
Arnie has been employed by the Senate of Pennsylvania for the past 24 years. Prior to working in the Senate, Arnie worked as a Public Information Writer for the House Republican Caucus in Harrisburg.
Arnie graduated from Liberty High School in 1976.
After high school he graduated from the Williamsport Area Community College, now Penn College with an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies. He obtained his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from Mansfield University.
In 1993, Arnie completed the Pennsylvania Rural Leadership Program (RULE) through Penn State University. Arnie also served two terms on the RULE Advisory Board. In 2005, Arnie was one of 25 people nationwide who completed the Legislative Management Staff Institute through the University of Southern California. The program was sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Locally, Arnie served on the Tioga County Development Corporation’s committee that created the Tioga County Youth Leadership Program. He also served as a mentor in the Leadership Lycoming Adult Program and on the Leadership Lycoming Youth Leadership Curriculum Committee. Additionally, Mr. Kriner served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition, where he served as its chairman of the Rural Health Task Force.
Arnie, his wife Lianne lives in Liberty Township, Tioga County. They have one married daughter, Erin.
