Working in Groups and Getting Things Done
Understanding why groups behave as they do and learning techniques to improve a group's effectiveness are the focus of the classes. Topics address meeting preparation and agenda development, group process, managing conflict, decision-making, facilitation, dealing with change and using parliamentary procedure and consensus. Participants get in-class practice of new skills. Six two-hour interactive workshops. Choose one or all.
Audience: Members of organizations, agencies, and community groups
Schedule: Various delivery methods and times available
Fee: $25 per person or $100 for all sessions/person. Negotiable for groups seeking the program for their members or staff.
