Economic and Community Development
The economic and community development team of Penn State Extension provides community residents, leaders and businesses with information to assist them in reaching economic and community goals.
We do much of our work through local partnerships and collaborations because a substantial body of research has shown that strengthening the connections between groups and individuals positions communities better to respond to on-going challenges. We often work with non-profit agencies, business groups, municipal officials and informal community leaders, service and other civic organizations as well as informal community groups or associations.
