Services We Provide

In Clinton County, Master Gardeners provide the following services:

• Garden Question Hotline

Answer consumer’s telephone inquiries and assist Extension office visitors with plant and insect samples for identification or diagnosis.

• Educational Programs

Assist with Extension educational programming including presentations for local organizations, workshops, exhibits, displays, etc.

• Demonstration Gardens

Assist with establishing and maintaining educational demonstration gardens.

• Informational Materials

Prepare research-based gardening and horticultural materials for fact sheets, newsletters, newspapers, and web sites.

• Environmental Stewardship

Develop or assist with community-based environmental stewardship projects.

• Healing Gardens/Horticultural Therapy

Develop or assist with community, healing, and school gardens.

• Youth Gardening Education

Assist teachers, 4-H volunteers and youth, and local children with gardening education projects.

• Plant Clinics

Conduct plant clinics at Extension offices, local libraries, farmers’ markets, government centers, fairs, expos, etc.
