Volunteer Master Gardener Coordinator
Quentin Stocum became Clinton County’s Volunteer Master Gardener Coordinator in November 2009. As Coordinator, he oversees the general function and activities of the Master Gardener Program in conjunction with Horticulturist Thomas M. Butzler. Mr. Stocum serves as the main communication link between the State Master Gardener program, the county Extension Office and Master Gardener volunteers.
He provides oversight to Master Gardener projects either directly or by communicating with various sub-committee chairs. Mr. Stocum is also responsible for assisting with recruiting, selection, and training of new Master Gardener volunteers and with provision of advanced training to currently certified Master Gardeners. Garden Hotline
From April through September, Master Gardeners in Clinton County maintain a Gardening Hotline to answer local gardening questions.
The Hotline is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

The Master Gardener program is located at the Penn State Cooperative Extension Facilities in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, very near the geographic center of the state. Situated one mile from Exit 173 of Interstate 80, the Clinton County Extension Office is easily accessible via major highways. Driving directions are provided below.
From Eastern Pennsylvania:
Take Interstate 80 westbound to Exit 173. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right on to PA Route 64. Proceed approximately 1 mile to Cooperation Lane which is a left turn from Route 64. From Cooperation Lane take the first right into the Cooperative Extension Office Parking Lot.
From Western Pennsylvania:
Take Interstate 80 eastbound to Exit 173. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left on to PA Route 64. Proceed approximately 1 mile to Cooperation Lane which is a left turn from Route 64. From Cooperation Lane take the first right into the Cooperative Extension Office Parking Lot.
