- In 2004, Range Resources drilled the first Marcellus Shale well in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Ever since that first well was drilled there have been countless studies looking at what the exploration of the Marcellus Shale play might mean for economic development in Pennsylvania. After all, the Marcellus is currently estimated to be the world’s second largest unconventional natural gas field at roughly 489 trillion cubic feet of extractable natural gas.

Dining with Diabetes Being Offered

- Learning that you have diabetes can be overwhelming at first. There are many new things to learn and it can be difficult to know where to start. Dining with Diabetes is a program offered by Penn State Cooperative Extension. It will help you to understand some of most important things you need to know about how to manage your diabetes. Classes are offered weekly for four weeks, with a 3 month follow up class. Each class offers food demostrations and tasting, physical activity and ideas to take home and discussions regarding important information to help you manage your diabetes.
