It is the responsibility of each member to know and understand the rules when entering into competitive activities. You will find the fair book to be a comprehensive definition of everything from camping regulations to the specific rules for each species.

Please note that all 4-H members who intend to compete at the fair should also complete the registration form found in the fair book. There are pieces of fair competition that require signatures and paperwork for competition that must be kept on file with the fair office for their recordkeeping purposes.

All members are encouraged to submit their project entries to the fair. The fair provides additional recognition when you are awarded a prize for your efforts. Members who complete a project and who do not wish to compete in fair competitions may bring their completed project to our 4-H Round up experience on Saturday, July 30 at the Clarion County Fair. These projects are not eligible for fair premiums but will be examined for completion by 4-H leaders from 12-2 PM at the Roller Skating Rink at the fair.

Members with horse, livestock, rabbit, and cavy projects should consider the fair junior shows their round up exhibition opportunity. By the nature of an animal science project, the animals on exhibition must have a health certificate (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection) issued after May 1, 2011.
