Posted: February 22, 2011

4-H Members will participate in Quality Assurance Trainig focused on good production practices.

In 2010 Penn State implemented a requirement that all 4-H animal science members taking large or small animal project are required to participate in Ethics and Quality Assurance Training.  This is an annual requirement for all Pennsylvania 4-H animal science members and there will be three good production practices taught each year.  Leaders will be provided with the three production practices and resources to help teach the practices.  They can be all be taught at one meeting or you can teach the topics over several meetings.  Leader training will be part of the different species leader meetings this spring.  If you need details sooner please contact Cheryl F. or Toni.
