The field production manager at the Josie Porter Farm will be responsible for day to day operations associated with the field production of vegetables & herbs, growing and producing for our established 200 + member CSA and Buying Club. The farm consists of 48 acres total (5 acres under cultivation, 24 acres pastures, 19 acres forested, wetlands, and creek) and is in its 8th year of operation.
This position performs a variety of duties in support of the Lehigh County Agricultural Conservation Easement Program and reports directly to the County's Director of Farmland Preservation.

Major responsibilities will include planning, implementing, conducting and evaluating a broad range of educational program for adults who are starting a farm. This includes maintaining and expanding existing “Start Farming” programs, coordination of programs and projects, and building community collaborations and partnerships.
