Farmland ConneCTions Outlines Farm Lease Options

Farmland ConneCTions is a new publication made possible by collaboration between the American Farmland Trust and the University of Connecticut. The guide looks at different land lease options used by farmers throughout Connecticut including those who farm in or near urban areas where land prices are significantly higher - similar to land situations in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
This guide includes sample lease procedures in addition to an honest list of successes and challenges farmers experienced while leasing land. It is certainly a worthwhile read for anyone who is currently or is considering leasing.
