At Farm Credit, we love helping farmers on and off the field. This includes engaging our farmers in the AgBiz Masters program, which is a hands-on, interactive educational learning series, designed specifically for young, beginning, small, and minority farmers.
AgBiz Masters is focused on developing farmers’ business and financial management skills with modules that focus on the megatrends of agriculture, strategic business planning, preparing for your lender, constructing a balance sheet, and developing an income statement and cash flow projection.
This program is a two-year series developed by Dr. David Kohl, an accomplished professor at Virginia Tech who is both a dynamic and easy to understand speaker.
AgBiz Masters takes a blended learning approach of online modules and activities and face-to-face regional seminars led by local experts. With this, you have the ability to study at your own pace, at whatever time of the day works best for you.
The cost of the program is $400 per person, but since we believe this program is a vital step towards your success, you’ll only pay a $225 registration fee. And it gets better…once you successfully complete the course, we’ll reimburse you $100!
We know this class will help you as a young, beginning, small, or minority farmer, to succeed in managing your farming operation. So, don’t wait – sign up for the next AgBiz Masters class today and let us prove to you that we believe in educating our farmers.
The next class’ deadline is October 31, 2012, so give us a call at 800.477.9947 or visit us online at mafc.com for more information.
