Establishing Grower Study Circles

Penn State Extension is teaming up with young and beginning growers to offer study circles. These sessions will allow you to learn from experts and compare notes with your peers. Each session will begin with a short presentation followed by two hours of discussion. Network during dinner. Establishing farmer study circles are perfect for next generation growers and those in years 2-7 of their farm.

Women in Ag Study Circles

These sessions will offer a comfortable learning environment for peer to peer learning, access to the latest research to problem solve the challenges you are dealing with on the farm this year, and a network of peers and service providers to support you during the growing season.

Bi-lingual Study Circle Networks

Small-group study sessions to help you plan and prepare for the upcoming growing season or a new venture. Experiential training is offered at on-farm demonstration plots managed by new, young, and minority farmers.
