More Information

Our guest speaker, Ben Wenk, is a seventh generation grower in Northern Adams County. A 2006 Penn State Agroecology graduate, Ben manages his farm’s market efforts in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC. He also grows the small fruit and vegetables to supply these markets, and has recently released a line of hard cider to even further diversify his farm’s offerings. Through his retail marketing, Ben has also picked up wholesale opportunities, and is a strong supporter of the “buy local” movement.
