Seconds to Tragedy: Grain Safety Webinar On Young Workers

Tragedy is just seconds away when inside grain bins and other grain storage facilities. That’s how long it takes to become fatally engulfed. This AgriSafe Network webinar will explore grain safety strategies and will incorporate a new video by the Grain Handling Safety Coalition (GHSC). Join presenter Marsha Salzwedel at 3 p.m. (CT), Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017.

The Grain Handling Safety Coalition is a volunteer group comprised of individuals, organizations, and agencies with connections to the grain and agricultural industries. They are dedicated to preventing accidents, injuries and fatalities in grain handling operations on the farm and at the elevator. The National Children’s Center, part of Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, Marshfield, Wis., is a member organization of the GHSC.
