The National ROPS Rebate Program Begins Their National Campaign

Protecting the farmers who provide the food!

The National Tractor Safety Coalition (NTSC) is a multi-sector workgroup that was formed in May 2014 during a collaborative action planning workshop. The NTSC is currently working to reduce tractor overturn fatalities through the expansion of current ROPS Rebate Programs. Once sufficient funds have been raised for rebates, the National ROPS Rebate Program (NRRP) will be available to all U.S. farmers who wish to retrofit tractors, on a first-come first-served basis. This program will be reflective of the current program and offer hotline assistance and web enrollment.

Currently 7 states: NY, VT, PA, NH, MA, WI, and MN have state programs to help retrofit tractors. To-date, they have retrofitted over 2,150 tractors but have more than 353 farmers on a wait list. In order to expand this program, the NTSC is seeking donations from major corporations, individuals, community donors, as well as State specific funding.

Help the National Tractor Safety Coalition reduce unnecessary deaths due to over-turns to ALL U.S. Farmers. For more Information on the NRRP or to get involved with the Coalition please contact Pam Tinc at 800-343-7527 or email at:
